UNFOLDING SPACE THROUGH SOUND ART
In 2012 ARTnord will organize a touring exhibition, accompanied by a special issue. The aim of the project is to discover an active, committed and unusual sound art scene from the extreme North Atlantic fringes. Whether they amplify the perception of a place, render a new type of silence or speak in unheard voices from the living realm, the works gathered for this exhibition help rediscover space through the experience of sound. Close or distant, personal or political, human or animal, a gripping phenomenon is arising. We welcome you to discover unexpected signals from the Arctic horizon.
